Responsible for the research, design development and implementation of new workholding product offerings.
Essential Functions:
Developing and promoting new products.
Support technical sales and new product development for workholding products.
Must have a thorough understanding of gear and pinion workholding design & related machine interfaces.
Design expanding and contracting workholding equipment for all gear processing applications.
Direct customer and dealer interaction related to new product development.
Capable of promoting and selling workholding products.
Responsible for the research, design, development and implementation of new workholding product offerings.
Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering
Three plus years experience
Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics related to machine applications.
Basic understanding of heat treat processes of alloy steel, knowledge of special wear relating to coating for alloy steel as well as strength of materials.
Die quenching design knowledge required.
Gear process knowledge.
Computer skills to include Pro E, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and MSOffice suite.
Machine tool background to include machine worktables, spindle and tailstock functions as well as part handling and automation experience.
Must have sales experience to include, quotations, presentations, tech support, etc.
