GWR Job Descriptions

Responsible for set-up and debug hardware and software control systems on complex machine tools.    

Hardware and software set-up and debug of Machine Tool Systems and related components including relay logic, Fanuc 160i and Siemens 840D controller startups, AC/DC drive controllers, position feedback devices, programmable controllers (PLC) and using JIC and IEC schematics.  Develop and maintain work instructions to achieve same.  Use test and diagnostic instrumentation such as voltmeters, ammeters, line analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.  Assist Machine Runoff Operators, Engineering and others during runoff/inspection of machines.  Provide verbal and written support to Field Service as required.  Travel domestic and foreign as necessary

AAS - Industrial Electronics.  2 - 4 years exp set-up & debug Fanuc 160i & Siemens 840D Controllers.  Strong computer skills preferred.  Ability to learn readily, be thorough, responsible and dependable.  Able to work work in and contribute in a team environment.  Able to relate well with others, including internal customers, fellow team members, Machine Runoff Operators, Field Service, Engineering and external customers.  Must be self-motivated, flexible in assignments and able to work all shifts.  Overtime may be required.
