JOB TITLE:Software Engineers JOB ID:08-027
Brief Summary:

Participate as a member of a team dedicated to the development of machine tool gear process and gear testing and analysis software.  Multiple positions open.

 

Essential Functions:

Software Development:

    • Knowledge of modern software development practices

    • Expertise in latest development technologies such as VS2003, Measurement Studio, C++, C#, .NET, NUnit, NDoc, SVN.

    • MS Windows Device Drivers, SQL, RDMS, XML, PDF, ASP, SVG, C, C++

    • Adhere to established coding guidelines, test driven development and documentation procedures.

    • Ensure source code integrity through effective and proper use of revision control system

    • ffectively translate software component concepts and design requirements into code.

Engineering:

    • Experience in design and implementation of real-time measurement and control systems with concurrent analysis and reporting capabilities.

    • Experience in developing and implementing algorithms for data analysis

Applied Mathematical:

    • DSP, FFT, Numerical Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Geometry, Applied Physics

Applied Mechanical:

    • Aptitude and interest to understand and evalutate how variances in a machine may affect the testing process and data acquisition

 

Requirements:

BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with strong mathematics or BS in Mathematics or Mechanical Engineering with strong computer science background (including multiple courses in programming and object oriented design).

Education Desired:

MS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or other Engineering with very strong mathematics and computer science backgrounds.

 

Certifications Desired:  Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) , Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
