CNC Gear Inspection Systems
They're designed for maximum performance, universal application, and ease of operation making them the ideal tools for a wide range of inspection and process control tasks. These systems employ generative motion via linear interpolation for lead and involute gear measurement. A constant contact point between the flank and probe makes this the most precise method of measurement.
All Gleason-M&M systems include motorized tailstock, ultra-precision ground tailstock, slide and live upper center to ensure precise locating, clamping and driving component performance. Special tooling such as a magnetic base and quick change precision chucking devices are offered to optimize performance.
Systems are built and certified in accordance with a recognized independent standard for gear inspection equipment (Class I of the VDI/VDE 2612 and BGA DUCOP 05). Traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is established via calibration to standard artifacts certified by NIST.
